How to use AlienVoIP in X-Lite(Bria)

Step 1 : Download and install X-Lite(Bria) with your iPhone at X-Lite website. Follow the instructions given and complete the installation.

Step 2 : Run Bria for the first time and it displays as below. Select “Accounts” as 1st image to access to account

settings. Next, click

to create an new account in Bria (2nd image).

Step 3 : Select “Generic SIP Account” to setup for your new account in Bria.

Step 4 : Enter the SIP account information via AlienVoIP Management System (1st image). Then slide down until “Enabled” to make it ON to activate your account and click “Save” (2nd image).

Get information from AlienVoIP Management System

Step 5 : Click “Settings” to back to previous session then select “Advanced Settings”.

Step 6 : Slide down until “Audio Codecs Selection” and select “Cell Audio Codecs” to setup codec for cell audio (1st image). Then, select “G729a” as codec for AlienVoIP while other codecs are in off mode. Click “Advanced” to back to previous session (2nd image).

Step 7 : Select “WiFi Audio Codecs” to setup codecs for WiFi Audio.

Step 8 : Choose G729a as your codec for WiFi Audio, whereas other codec are in the off mode (1st image). Then, click “Settings” to back to previous session and click “Apply Changes” to apply the changes that have made to it. Once again, click “Settings” to back to previous session (2nd image).

Step 9 : Select “Accounts” to access account settings (1st image). Then click “Register” to register your account until it shows as 2nd image. Afterthat, click “Accounts” to back to previous session.
