How to setup AlienVoIP in Media5-Fone Pro

Step 1 : Download and install Media5-Fone Pro at Media5-Fone Pro Website. Follow the instructions given and complete the installation.

Step 2 : Run it for the first time after installing and it will display as image beside. Click the display as image beside to create an account in Media5-Fone Pro.

Step 3 : Enter your SIP account information by referring to our AlienVoIP Management System, then click “Save”.** Please click HERE to guide you for registration if you haven’t registered an SIP account via AlienVoIP.

Get your account information from AlienVoIP Management System

Step 4 : Select “Settings” to access account setting.

Step 5 : Select “Configure SIP Accounts” to setup for your SIP account (1st image) and then click on active account that appears on the display (2nd image) to access your new account.

Step 6 : Select “Define manually” to configure the Media5-Fone with the SIP settings of our AlienVoIP SIP Server (1st image). Then, select “Servers” to access SIP Server for setup (2nd image).

Step 7 : Fill in the information that related to your SIP Server via AlienVoIP Management System then click “New Account” to back to previous session (1st image). Next, select “Advanced” for advanced settings (2nd image).

Step 8 : Enter Display Name and Authentication Name for your SIP account by referring to AlienVoIP Management System (1st image), then slide down until “Media Options” and select “Codecs Wi-Fi” to setup codec for Wi-Fi (2nd image).

Step 9 : Select “iLBC” as your Active Codecs for Wi-Fi (1st image), then drag-and-drop other Codecs into the Inactive Codecs to disable them and click “Advanced” to back to previous session (2nd image).

Step 10 : Select “Codecs 3G” to setup codecs for 3G.

Step 11 : Choose “iLBC” as your Active Codecs for 3G (1st image). On the other hand, drag-and-drop to move other Codecs into Inactive Codecs to disable them then click “Done” after finish setup (2nd image).
